Faithful Navigator Report 12/18/2010

Assembly 383 has received a thank you letter from the Archbishop for the Military Services for our donation to the Archdiocese for the Military Services. A copy will be provided Saturday.
We have five firm candidates for the Fourth Degree and one transfer. We have contacted 14 knights of which nine look very promising. We are in the process of visiting the councils associated with our assembly.
For the Exemplification of the Fourth Degree we have sent our reservation and paid for our hospitality room, sent and paid for our assembly ad and are working on commercial ads.
We continue to plan an activity to celebrate AMJC Assembly # 383 fiftieth anniversary next spring.
The assembly Color Corps has participated in 26 activities. Since last report we participated in three memorial Masses and Cardinal Wuerl's Special Mass.
A Christmas Party was held by the assembly on Friday 12/03/10 at Council # 2809. It was attended by around 60 Sir Knights and their families. Santa Claus also visited and listened to children and adult requests.
AMJC Assembly is sponsoring an oratorical contest for seventh and eighth grade students with the theme "Catholic Patriots". St. Joseph Regional Catholic School and Saint Mary of the Mills Catholic School are participating. Holy Redeemer Catholic School has also been invited to participate.
